LEICA GEOSYSTEMS relocated its agricultural division in Denmark

Leica Geosystems announces the relocation of its agricultural division from Brisbane, Australia, in Odense, Denmark. Swiss manufacturer plans to use the synergy of R&D and practical application on the famous enterprise management group machines Leica Geosystems.

To date, Odense is one of the main enterprises of machine control of the group Leica Geosystems and includes well-known R & D, marketing and service departments for the global market. Relocation of agricultural division iin Odense will give the possibility to reach cross synergy in all areas.

Leica Geosystems will continue to support its customers through regional distributors and local offices. In Moldova the company Agropiese TGR is the representative of Leica Geosystems and Technoton.

The process of relocation, including Brisbane-based technical support, will occur gradually during the second half of 2013.

"Our goal is to optimize processes and to create a strong team in Europe. Between our machine control systems for the construction sector and the agricultural market there is an obvious synergy. Relocation of agricultural division in Denmark will provide new opportunities to provide our customers with better services in a variety of industries that require machine control" - said Johan Amberg, president of machine control group Leica Geosystems.
